I went the new opening of the restaurant and patio area and it was excellent. The service was great. The food was excellent. Had the steak and eggs. Cost was reasonable and tge atmosphere was so beautiful.

Great course and extremely challenging. If you normally shoot over 90, bring a dozen balls. Thin fairways and many trees make this course fun and difficult. Also the elevation changes and sharp doglegs make things tricky. As a previous post said, don’t take out the driver on every par 4/5. Irons off the tee will payoff (I figured this out later when I got to the back nine unfortunately). It was a little frustrating early on but loved playing here and hope to be back…… when my game is better.

Well groomed and cared for course. Be ready for the elevation changes, you’ve been warned. Traps are in great shape as were the greens. It’s definitely challenging but we’ll worth the $$! Lots of blind shots, so be mindful before you pull driver out every hole!

Normally this is an outstanding course with acceptable pace of play. Not today!! First off we tee'd off about 15 min later than our tee time. Then it just got worse. Spent at least 15 min waiting at each green because the group ahead of them was still putting. At least twice a hole had three groups lined up. Totally unacceptable. We finally saw a marshall and he said it was a slow grup ahead causing the delay. You think??? What did you do about it? Finally we had enough. We were only on 7th hole, with 3 groups lined up still to tee off. We had already been on course for 2 hours!!! 7th hole, 2 hours!! For the amount of money charged for this course, there is no way you should ever allow a back up like this to occur.

Some good scenic holes, but unfortunately the beauty ends right at there. The fairway condition was awful, hardly any manicured grass. Greens were bumpy and not groomed, and it was hard to get an idea of how it was going to roll. The most pitiful part was that it was very difficult to nail a tee in the teeing area. If that tells something about the condition of this golf course. One positive I take from this day was that I had a good workout from walking up and down the hill.
